In great tropical surroundings and atmosphere very good. Just loved the older style room, friendly staff and oh and the water in the pools warm. The tour desk was helpful as well and meals were excellent.
The loss of free airport transfers, gardens in some places were in need of a tidy and bed was small and a bit lumpy. The toilet made a horrible noise
flushed and the food was awful.

The surroundings were lovely and the lady in the store was nice. The very relaxed atmosphere was a change for new year's eve and loved the location of the room and the interior of the room was great. Staff were very helpful, facilities were good except
there was no mirror above the wash basin in the bathroom and breakfast buffet was definitely worth the money.
The loss of the free bus service into the city and the swimming pools
are ample and the town is fairly local. The dining area is also noisy and chaotic, we had to shoulder our way to the food, Cairns is not the best that Australia has to offer. Poor air conditioning.

Great surroundings & facilities and the hourly bus shuttle to town is very useful. Cairns colonial club friendly, staff are fantastic and rooms are fair sized and clean. Restaurants are very good, the pool is lovely.
Smelly fermenting mangoes rotting by the car park and bit scary walking around the area at night. The hotel is large and the internet is kind of expensive. The choice of meals could be increased and the buffet breakfast is overpriced.

The children loved the pool area and having 24 hour access was nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful, also the rooms were comfortable and spacious.
