matlab r2014a安装libsvm出错的解决方案
一，在安装libsvm时出现了下面的错误提示：
&& mex -setup
错误使用 mex
未找到支持的编译器或 SDK。有关选项，请访问
/support/compilers/R2014a/win64。
这其实是因为64位的matlab不带编译器，而我本机又没有安装过Visual Studio所以会提示找不到编译器，这里以安装Visual Studio 2012为例演示。（
）。安装的时候将所有的内容都安装上就可以了。安装过程非常简单，不再介绍。
二，安装完成后重新启动一下matlab，然后再试就能找到编译器了。
&& mex -setup
MEX 配置为使用 ‘Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (C)’ 以进行 C 语言编译。

【求助】matlab2013a win8上安装不了收藏
就一点那个setup.exe就自动出来要安装microsoft visual c++ 2005，然后装着装着这个界面就自己消失了。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。然后再也没有安装界面了！然后我搜了一下说是那个vc++2005的问题，于是又跑到microsoft的网站上面下载了64位的还是不行。然后试图装一个2010的说我电脑上已经有2010了不给装。。。。。所以到底怎么办啊！这个学期有一个该死的project是matlab做T.T学都没学过安装都装不了T^T

安装目录bin文件夹里有win32和win64两个文件夹，根据你的系统选择合适的，然后用winrar把vcredist_x64（或vcredist_x32）.exe里面的vcredist.msi提取出来，再出现缺少microsoft visual c++ 2005时加载这个文件就好了！我也是今天折腾了好久，刚才才弄好，希望能帮到你。

我也遇到了和楼主一样的情况，现在依然没搞定，悲剧。不过我的是原本装过的3013a，而且我的电脑是win7 32位系统的，然后我误删了一个文件，我就想把它删除了重装，现在就出现了你说的那种情况，我就不应该卸载啊！太悲剧了！

我的笔记本前一阵子是win8 32位，装2013a,没问题；现在是win8 64位，装2013a 64位，也没问题。我装的时候跟2L的类似，点的是安装目录bin文件夹下，win32或win64文件夹里的setup装的，没有什么问题。

我遇到了和你一样的问题，找了很多方法，最后终于搞定，希望能帮到你。1.上微软官网下载Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)的安装包，2.6M大，网址右键用WinRAR解压缩软件打开下载到的vcredist_x86.exe，解压得到VCREDI~3.EXE，继续用WINRAR打开VCREDI~3.EXE解压出里面的vcredist.msi这个文件，这个就是需要的源文件。3.在出错对话框中选择这个文件加载，再点确定就能卸载了。 我根据链接下载了之后,发现仍旧不行.后来干脆搜微软官网上英文版的答案,才发现, VC++2005 Redistributable居然在微软自己官网也有几个版本, windows 7 x86下面好用的一个应该是:或我最后是通过运行这个才搞定了. --我于是就纳闷了: 同是微软官网的东西, 差别咋就这么大涅?指示这个答案的原文链接如下: I solved it! 请问楼主安装的是哪一版的matlab ?
见鬼，跑了国内外的论坛，在微软官方下了n个版本的 vcredist_x64 都不认，没辙了，虚拟光驱打开matlab安装文件iso，到bin\win64目录下发现个vcredist_x64，救命稻草啊！拷贝出来解压，提示错误的时候指到解压后的vcredist.msi，就搞定了。原来matlab只认自家的东东啊。崩溃，希望能帮到郁闷的朋友。本人系统64位win8.1 。
其实你只要把目录改成英文的就可以了。。。很多游戏不也这样。。

下载下来的借口包里有svm的一些源文件，没有可执行的exe文件，所以，必须先将svmtrain等源文件编译为matlab可以使用的dll等文件。于是先选择编译器，如下：&4.编译libsvm我的编译器是VC++ 6.0首先在matlab设置当前目录为 D:\MATLAB\R2010a\toolbox\matlab5.执行编译在matlab命令窗口中输入mex -setup显示Please choose your compiler for building external interface (MEX) files:&&Would you like mex to locate installed compilers [y]/n?输入ySelect a compiler:&[1] Lcc-win32 C 2.4.1 in D:\MATLAB\R2010a\sys\lcc&[2] Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 in D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0&[3] Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 in D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio&&[0] None&Compiler:需要你选择编译器我输入的是3 即选择VC++ 6.0Please verify your choices:&&Compiler: Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0&Location: D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio&&Are these correct [y]/n?再次确认自己的选择，输入yTrying to update options file: C:\Users\DELL\AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\MATLAB\R2010a\mexopts.bat&From template: & & & & & & &D:\MATLAB\R2010a\bin\win32\mexopts\msvc60opts.bat&&Done . . .&编译器选择好了之后，用make.m编译命令窗口输入make可以看到新编译出4个文件libsvmread.mexw32，libsvmwrite.mexw32，svmtrain.mexw32，svmpredict.mexw32在命令窗口中输入load heart_此时需注意，libsvm 3.12中提供的是c++版本的数据集heart_scale，这里需要加载matlab版本的数据集。这两个数据集有什么不同呢？C++版本的数据集里面如果某一个样本的某一个特征为0，这个特征可以不写在数据集中，但是在matlab版本中，必须要写出来。否则的话，会报这样一个错误：此时你可以选择下载matlab型的数据集，给一个链接。然后读取数据集libsvmread('heart_scale');完成该步骤后发现Workspace中出现了heart_scale_inst 和 heart_scale_label,说明正确。model=svmtrain(heart_scale_label,heart_scale_inst)[predict_lebel,accuracy]=svmpredict(heart_scale_label,heart_scale_inst,model)&证明libsvm安装成功，可以进行其他的实验了。
