DYNAMICS ANALYSIS OF DARUMA

In order to provide reference for potential engineering application and design and calculation of kid toys similar daruma,we established the dynamics equation of pure rolling of daruma on a circular surface,gave the limiting conditions of its pure rolling and swing back,and analyzed its stability.The calculation formula of main dynamics parameters was solved when it pure rolled at horizontal plane surface.With the help of software,we concretely analyzed the motion characteristics of one daruma as an example,and draw its main dynamic parameters curves.Our results found that its angular velocity?α,angular acceleration¨αand normal force Fnincreased along with the increase of initial angularα0,but tangential friction force Ft diminished along with the increase of initial angularα0.Whenα0is in the region between 0and 0.12 rad,swing cycle Tandα0are approximately in linear relationship,and T≤1.01 s.Whenα0is larger than 0.12 rad,swing cycle Tandα0are in nonlinear relationship,and T1.01 s.Whenα0tends toπ,Ttends to infinity.
